Shawn Mooring

Senior Fellow

Shawn Mooring specializes in organizational development and strategy planning, particularly within the nonprofit and philanthropic sectors. His work experience includes positions with The Twenty-First Century Foundation, The Philadelphia Foundation, Public/Private Ventures, and the Ford Foundation. In addition to his work with Frontline, Shawn provides strategic leadership as Network Manager to the National 2025 Network for Black Men and Boys, which helps connect, empower, and transform Black men and boys throughout the U.S. A native of Philadelphia, Shawn is a graduate of Hampton University and holds a master’s degree in Public Administration, with a specialization in Community Development, from the University of Delaware.
