Leveraging Research for Impact
Rasheeda Johnson is a researcher, project manager, and public affairs professional with a deep commitment to the social, political, and economic empowerment of marginalized communities. She has a breadth of knowledge across the translational research pathway: from idea conceptualization to the implementation of evidence-based, impactful solutions. As a former logistical strategist for the federal government, Rasheeda is experienced in leveraging knowledge from multiple research realms to guide collaborative, efficient decision-making processes that improve minority health and wellbeing. She is dedicated to expanding access to wellness resources and positively influencing cultural perceptions about health and fitness. Rasheeda received her Ph.D. in gerontology with an epidemiology focus from University of Maryland School of Medicine.
